Job Opportunity: Senior Cloud Accountant [Bookkeeper] at Doane Grant Thornton

Responsibilities include:

1. Bookkeeping preparation and posting of client transactions
2. Supporting compilation engagements and financial statement preparation
3. Preparing adjusting journal entries
4. Reconciliation of bank accounts, accounts payable, and receivable
5. Reconciliation of payroll and T4 returns
6. Preparing personal and corporate tax returns, including HST returns
7. Assisting clients with day-to-day accounting queries
8. Completing ad-hoc duties as required
9. Collaborating regularly with clients
10. Training and mentoring junior colleagues

Qualifications:

• Accounting certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in bookkeeping
