Job summary

Carbonhound, a Toronto-based climate-action SaaS company, seeks a Senior Climate Action Lead (Sales) to accelerate growth with businesses across North America. This hybrid, downtown Toronto role combines strategic go-to-market planning with hands-on sales leadership and collaboration with founders and cross-functional teams.

You will shape the sales playbook, educate customers on decarbonization, and help meet revenue goals while advancing climate action.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in climate reporting, sustainability, or energy management in an in-house Sustainability role or consulting
• Knowledge of leading GHG standards (CDP, TCFD, B Corp, Ecovadis, Science Based Targets)
• Interest in mastering SaaS sales tool kit
• Ability to connect sustainability initiatives to business value
• Experience engaging with decision-makers in the North American market, mid-market segment
• Clear communication and consultative selling approach
• Ability to build partnerships and sourcing relationships in target markets
• Willingness to become a subject matter expert across domains
• Passion to empower businesses to grow sustainably

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle to secure new logos and drive revenue growth
• Educate companies on climate action and sustainable profitability
• Identify key accounts and build pipeline in target industries
• Inform product roadmap with customer insights from sales and marketing
• Collaborate across Marketing, Growth, Customer Success and Product
• Refine the sales playbook and win lighthouse logos in the region
