Job summary

Business Development Bank of Canada is seeking a hybrid-work role in Ottawa to provide high-quality client service to the Financing team. You will prepare proposals and contracts, obtain signatures, and follow up with clients.

You will also perform administrative tasks and support the portfolio with risk assessments and marketing activities. The role requires a Bachelor in Business Administration or accounting diploma, 1–3 years of experience, bilingual French/English, and strong MS Office

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or college accounting diploma.
1–3 years experience in a similar role.
Bilingual in French and English.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with MS Office and ability to work in an office environment 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality client service to the BDC Financing team and resolve core issues.
Prepare letters of intent, offers and contracts, and ensure signatures and follow-ups.
Prepare client proposals and related documents.
Conduct pre-qualification and risk rating assessments for clients.
Identify funding opportunities and develop value-adding solutions.
Support branch marketing efforts and on-site logistics.
