AIG Canada is seeking a Client Director to join the Client Engagement Team in Toronto. You will manage key client relationships, focus on retention and new business growth, and align internal stakeholders to deliver value across product lines.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in P&C insurance, strong communication and influence skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. The base salary ranges from $88,000 to $133,000 with bonus eligibility and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of client relationship/management experience.
• Experience in P&C Insurance is required.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities.
• Ability to build relationships with brokers, clients, peers and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Build valuable client relationships with key personnel including C-suite executives; Serve as the senior AIG contact for key client partners and brokers; Develop Client Summaries with clients to identify focus areas and opportunities; Maintain regular dialogue with major brokerage operations.
• Internal Management: Champion new and existing initiatives with Broker Distribution and Underwriting leaders; Collaborate across Underwriting, Claims, Risk Engineering, Marketing to ensure client-centric focus; Develop and implement marketing and event strategies to hit production targets; Manage client portfolios across Distribution and Underwriting; Promote AIG value proposition and cross-sell across products.
• Meet or exceed client retention and premium retention goals for Engaged Account Portfolio; Deliver results in new business production and cross-selling.
