Job summary

Axis Insurance Managers Inc. in Canada is seeking an Account Manager, Private Client to support Account Executives and the Personal Insurance team, manage client files, quotes, renewals, and endorsements, and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters.

This role emphasizes service excellence, timely communications, attention to detail, and collaboration with MGAs and insurers. A license and 5 years' personal insurance experience are required; CAIB/CIP/CRM are assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ Personal insurance experience, consistently meeting internal core competencies.
• General Insurance Agent Level II license through the Insurance Council of British Columbia or equivalent license in the individual’s province of residence, with the ability to obtain a British Columbia license.
• Active pursuit of CAIB, CIP, CRM, or other insurance designations, considered an asset
• Post Secondary Degree considered an asset
• Experience using Epic broker management system an asset

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Account Executives and the BSAA Personal Insurance team to stay updated on client file status.
• Proactively obtain underwriting information from potential and renewal clients.
• Negotiate terms with insurers for new and renewal business.
• Present quotes, renewals and endorsements to clients and obtain bindings.
• Maintain a technical and service-oriented relationship with clients and underwriters.
• Handle routine inquiries and ensure timely, accurate work.
