Our team is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Civil Design Lead to support our team for Canada in the design and delivery of water, wastewater, conveyance, and transportation projects. Opportunity exists within our Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia offices. In this role as a Senior Civil Design Lead, you’ll be responsible for preparing drawings and conceptual sketches using CAD platforms, applying appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals, all working closely with engineers to coordinate designs.
You’ll also produce pipe networks and 3D utility models from survey data, GIS and record drawings; produce grading surfaces and designs from survey data; prepare plan and profile drawings for pipelines and chambers based on engineer's direction; perform basic land surveying, geometric, trigonometric, volumetric calculations; and organize assignments to ensure design budgets and timelines are met. You’ll interface with internal and external contacts and will coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking and quality control.
Salary Range: $90,000 – $140,000 per year (Ontario, Canada).
