Your Role Within The Team

This position involves working on fast-paced, technically complex nuclear projects. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing existing buildings prior to project design and performing site take-offs.
• Developing designs and technical specifications for systems such as HVAC, plumbing, building controls, etc.
• Assisting team members with various projects, fostering knowledge sharing.
• Preparing drawings and construction documents.
• Coordinating system requirements with electrical departments, architects, and authorities.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress.

The Ideal Candidate

• College diploma or equivalent with at least 10 years' experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Raster Design, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Smart Plant 3D/Smart, MicroStation, Navisworks Manage, and Tekla.
• Ability to incorporate changes from marked-up drawings into AutoCAD files.
• Knowledge of ASME Code is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and in teams.
