Job summary

Altis is seeking a Manager of Organizational Change to guide multi-project change across a major public sector program. You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic change that supports growth while ensuring staff are heard and empowered.

You will oversee readiness, case for change, and governance, while coaching executives to act as effective sponsors of sustainable transformation across facilities, IT, and HR domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience leading organizational change management initiatives.
• Expert knowledge of change management methodologies with a Prosci designation preferred.
• Ability to think strategically and drive complex projects from assessment to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of change management strategies for professional service functions.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll lead the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies for various professional service functions, ensuring all initiatives align with the broader organizational goals.
• In this role, you’ll oversee the creation of the "case for change" by conducting impact studies and readiness assessments to identify and support key constituents affected by transitions.
• You’ll provide strategic coaching and expert advice to senior leaders, helping them increase their effectiveness as sponsors of sustainable change.
• You’ll collaborate with communications and HR partners to build a robust change culture, increasing change capacity and resilience across the organization.
• You’ll develop and monitor key metrics to assess the effectiveness of your strategies, recommending iterative improvements based on data-driven insights.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience leading and implementing organizational change management strategies, ideally within the public sector or a complex institution.
• Expert knowledge of change management methodologies, values, and tools, with a Prosci designation or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Proven ability to think strategically and work independently, with the confidence to lead complex projects from assessment through to implementation without constant direction.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building alignment, trust, and strong relationships with stakeholders at every level of an organization.
• Experience in HR or Labour Relations is considered a significant asset, particularly when navigating operating model changes and technical implementations.
