Job summary

Altis Technology seeks a Manager of Organizational Change to guide a multi-year modernization effort within a major public sector institution. You will bridge strategy and execution, ensuring staff and faculty are supported, heard, and empowered during growth.

This role sits in a program office advising senior leadership across cross-functional teams. You will shape change across multiple projects, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborate with HR and communications to boost

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive change management leadership, ideally in public sector or complex institutions.
  • Expert knowledge of change management methodologies, with a Prosci designation or equivalent.
  • Strategic thinking with ability to lead projects from assessment to implementation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship-building across all levels.
  • Experience in HR or Labour Relations is a strong asset for operating model changes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies for multiple projects.
  • Create the case for change by conducting impact studies and readiness assessments.
  • Provide strategic coaching to senior leaders to strengthen sponsorship of change.
  • Collaborate with communications and HR to build a robust change culture.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to assess effectiveness and guide iterative improvements.

Your Responsibilities
  • Youll lead the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies for various professional service functions, ensuring all initiatives align with the broader organizational goals.
  • In this role, youll oversee the creation of the "case for change" by conducting impact studies and readiness assessments to identify and support key constituents affected by transitions.
  • Youll provide strategic coaching and expert advice to senior leaders, helping them increase their effectiveness as sponsors of sustainable change.
  • Youll collaborate with communications and HR partners to build a robust change culture, increasing change capacity and resilience across the organization.
  • Youll develop and monitor key metrics to assess the effectiveness of your strategies, recommending iterative improvements based on data-driven insights.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience leading and implementing organizational change management strategies, ideally within the public sector or a complex institution.
  • Expert knowledge of change management methodologies, values, and tools, with a Prosci designation or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and work independently, with the confidence to lead complex projects from assessment through to implementation without constant direction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building alignment, trust, and strong relationships with stakeholders at every level of an organization.
  • Experience in HR or Labour Relations is considered a significant asset, particularly when navigating operating model changes and technical implementations.
