Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in category, product, merchandising, or related commercial experience in B2B distribution.
• Data-driven and able to translate insights into actions.
• Commercially minded with understanding of assortment, suppliers, promotions, inventory and margin.
• Strategic thinker who can translate big-picture goals into practical plans.
• Collaborative influencer who builds cross-functional relationships.
• Comfortable using data/tools and emerging AI opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Shape the category strategy and drive assortment, sales, margin and portfolio decisions.
• Curate the portfolio to keep the assortment relevant and competitive.
• Drive vendor performance by building strategic supplier relationships and negotiating programs.
• Turn data into action by analyzing product, sales, margin and inventory trends.
• Improve how we work by leveraging technology and AI tools for efficiency.
• Partner across Sales, Marketing, Inventory, Finance, Supply Chain and other Category Managers to execute strategies.
