Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fund accounting, corporate accounting, cash management, or financial operations.
• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, cash processing, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with Yardi is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations for corporate and operating bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare and reconcile credit facility schedules and monitor daily cash positions.
• Prepare and post journal entries for internally managed investment funds using the Yardi accounting system.
• Process mortgage-related wire transfers, invoices, and other cash transactions for investment entities.
• Calculate monthly dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) amounts.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Establish and verify wire transfer templates for new vendors in accordance with established callback verification controls.
• Compile and upload supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency, strengthen processes, and enhance client service.
• Assist with special projects and other ad hoc assignments as required.
