Job summary

Symbiotic Digital in Toronto seeks a Senior Business Analyst to provide comprehensive analysis for complex business and technology initiatives. You will gather, document, analyze, and validate requirements while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, lead analysis activities, document requirements, and support UAT. A focus on process improvement and strong SDLC knowledge is required; 5 days onsite in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis.
• Facilitates JAD sessions and workshops.
• Experience creating business cases and cost/benefit analyses.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide comprehensive business analysis services supporting complex business and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, analyze, and validate business requirements while helping ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive range of business analysis services for diverse business and technology needs.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements.
  
• Lead and conduct business analysis activities to assess business problems and opportunities.
  
• Document business requirements to support the development of effective technology solutions.
  
• Apply business process improvement and re-engineering approaches to enhance service delivery.
  
• Develop business cases, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and strategic recommendations.
  
• Facilitate requirements gathering activities including:

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis.
  
• Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD sessions.

• Demonstrated experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• Experience working within large IT organizations.
  
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, Iterative Agile, and Product Management methodologies.
  
• Experience outlining business problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  
• Experience developing performance measures and business analysis evaluation metrics.
