Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions seeks a Project Manager – Building Restoration in Calgary, AB to lead restoration projects from investigation through construction, coordinating with clients, contractors and internal teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, 5+ years in restoration, and a P.Eng.

in Alberta or eligibility with APEGA, plus strong PM skills. A competitive CAD 90,000–120,000 salary plus comprehensive benefits is offered with growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in building restoration, structural rehab, or envelope consulting.
• P.Eng. in Alberta or eligible for registration with APEGA.
• Strong knowledge of restoration principles, contract administration, and PM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and client relationship abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead restoration projects from planning through close-out.
• Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, envelope evaluations.
• Prepare reports, specs, repair details, and construction documents.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client comms.
• Administer contracts during construction and handle changes/payments.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors for delivery.
• Support proposals, fee estimates, and client development activities.
• Mentor junior team members and uphold technical excellence.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regs, and best practices.
