Job summary

Associated Engineering in Calgary is seeking an experienced Building Mechanical Engineer to deliver mechanical engineering/consulting services with a primary focus on building services design. You will design functional and sustainable facilities, practice multi-disciplinary collaboration, and prepare reports, drawings, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, PEng eligibility, and 5+ years of consulting experience, with strong

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
5+ years progressive experience in Mechanical Engineering within the consulting engineering environment.
Experience with building HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

Design functional and sustainable facilities that are user- and operator-friendly.
Prepare reports, detailed drawings, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents.
Mentor and support scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration and inspection.
