SLR Consulting (Canada) is seeking a Senior Acoustics Consultant to lead architectural and building acoustics projects across North America. You will drive client relationships, deliver complex noise and vibration studies, and mentor junior staff while shaping the practice's growth.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in consulting with a focus on architectural/building acoustics.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, acoustics or related fields.
Professional Engineering designation (Ontario or other provinces) preferred; equivalent credentials considered.
Experience with sound and vibration modeling and computational software.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships at a senior level.
Staff training and mentoring experience is expected as part of the role.
Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver complex acoustics and vibration projects from proposal through execution and close-out.
Take full ownership of project scope, budgets, schedules, and resourcing.
Serve as the primary client contact and technical lead on key assignments.
Provide strategic technical direction on major or high-profile projects.
Mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff; foster a high-performance team environment.
Identify and pursue new opportunities with existing and prospective clients; lead proposal development.
Support recruitment and capability development within the acoustics practice.
Promote technical excellence and innovation across projects.
