Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to design, implement, and optimize enterprise platforms including DXP/DAM and Shopify e-commerce. You will translate business needs into functional requirements and support platform delivery and integration to drive measurable outcomes.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract focused on end-to-end requirements, stakeholder alignment, and collaboration with architects and vendors to deliver SaaS solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in enterprise or digital environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting DXP/DAM implementations and e-commerce Shopify.
• Strong expertise in requirements analysis, process modeling, and solution design.
• Experience working in SaaS and cloud-based platform ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and relational databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives; non-profit experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering across business, digital, and operational workflows.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for Salesforce, ServiceNow, and DXP/DAM platforms.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and design sessions to align on solution outcomes.
• Partner with architects, developers, and integrators to support platform design and implementation.
• Manage and trace requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring scope and quality control.
• Support vendor evaluation, RFP development, and SaaS solution selection.
• Coordinate and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify system or process gaps and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
