Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to partner with business and technology teams, translating needs into functional specs for Salesforce, ServiceNow, and DXP/DAM platforms. This 12-month contract role focuses on optimizing enterprise platforms and enabling effective e-commerce with Shopify.

You will lead workshops, coordinate with architects and vendors, and ensure testing and adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in enterprise or digital environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting DXP/DAM implementations and e-commerce Shopify.
• Strong expertise in requirements analysis, process modeling, and solution design.
• Experience working in SaaS and cloud-based platform ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and relational databases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives; non-profit experience is an asset.

Job Description:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst partners with business and technology teams to design, implement, and optimize enterprise platforms such as Digital Experience/Digital Asset Management (DXP/DAM) and e-Commerce Shopify solutions. This role translates business needs into clear functional requirements, supports platform delivery and integration, and ensures technology solutions drive measurable business and user outcomes.

This is a temporary, fixed-term contract position of 12-months.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering across business, digital, and operational workflows

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $105,518.40 to $131,913.60 with a maximum of $158,288.00. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
