Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Structural Engineer (Bridges) in Ontario with a strong track record in bridge design and project leadership. You will manage design teams, apply advanced techniques, and work with MTO and other clients on major transportation projects.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with P.Eng, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in CHBDC/AREMA codes and leading structural software. A hybrid work model is supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with PEO.
• 10+ years in analysis and design of bridge/transport structures; railway structures a plus.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex projects.
• Familiarity with CHBDC and AREMA Codes.
• Proficient in SAP 2000, CSI Bridge, MIDAS, Staad Pro, ETABS, Bentley ProjectWise and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a structural design team on a variety of bridges and transportation projects.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques to solve complex challenges.
• Direct, coach, and support engineers and technicians on projects.
• Advise management and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Prepare proposals and participate in business development activities.
• Prepare structural designs/evaluations and contract packages for MTO and key clients.
• Review condition surveys and recommend rehabilitation strategies.
