Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks a civil/structural role engineer to join the bridges and structures team in the Québec office. You will monitor engineering work for compliance with plans, control materials and quantities, and prepare payment documents while supporting site meetings with contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a DEC in civil engineering, has 5 years of relevant experience, and a valid ASP Construction card. A driver’s license and MTMD familiarity are required for this role.

Qualifications

• DEC in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• ASP Construction card required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Familiar with MTMD standards, guides, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor structural and civil engineering work ensuring compliance with plans, specifications and quality standards.
• Control materials and quantities, and prepare documents required for payment recommendations.
• Participate in site meetings and intervene with the contractor in case of non-compliance.
• Handle administrative follow-up, including writing site logs, notices to the contractor, and the final work report.
• Contribute to preparing plans for the construction or repair of structures.
