Job summary

MCAP is seeking a Sr. Training Specialist in Ontario to design, develop, and implement employee training programs that align with business goals. You will lead projects, collaborate with SMEs, and deliver both instructor-led and eLearning modules to multiple business units.

The role requires bilingual French and English, and a strong focus on adult learning principles, evaluation, and continuous improvement within a large mortgage finance company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Learning & Development experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Expert in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint applications.
• Bilingual French and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, design and deliver employee training solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Consult with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and select appropriate training.
• Develop course outlines and training materials for instructor-led and eLearning formats.
• Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person training sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys and knowledge assessments.
• Manage training projects and coordinate with SME and Instructional Design teams.
