Job summary

LCBO is hiring for an onsite Quality Assurance Laboratory Analyst in Toronto. You will perform analytical testing of beverage alcohol products to validate composition and regulatory compliance, supporting ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards and LCBO QA policies.

You will operate and maintain instruments (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, LC-MS, ICP-MS, CFA), prepare samples, and contribute to continuous improvement and research projects within a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Chemistry or related scientific fields is required.
• Experience in analytical chemistry in a regulated lab environment using advanced instrumentation.
• Experience with methods using GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, LC-MS, ICP-MS and CFA.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using specialized instrumentation (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, LC-MS, ICP-MS, CFA).
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and validate analytical instrumentation.
• Prepare reagents, standards and samples for chemical analyses and sensory testing.
• Review, interpret and report results per the Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) policies.
• Support laboratory projects and quality monitoring programs.
