Job summary

LCBO in Toronto seeks a detail-oriented Analyst to perform analytical testing on beverage products, validate composition, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will support QA functions, maintain instruments, and help drive continuous improvement in the laboratory.

Reporting to Quality Assurance Laboratory, you will handle SOPs, method development, data reporting, and QC checks within ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 frameworks. This onsite role offers growth and collaborative team work.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Chemistry or related field with relevant experience in analytical chemistry in regulated labs.
• Experience with advanced analytical instrumentation and method development.
• Including GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, LC-MS, ICP-MS, CFA and data interpretation.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025/ISO 9001 is beneficial.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, LC-MS, ICP-MS, CFA per SOPs.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate instrumentation for optimal performance.
• Prepare reagents, standards, samples for analyses and sensory testing as needed.
• Process, review and report results per QMS.
• Support QA programs and laboratory projects.
