Job summary

LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) seeks a Senior Test Analyst to lead planning, design, execution and reporting of software testing across projects onsite. You will craft test strategies, coordinate defects, and mentor testers within the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE).

You'll perform functional, integration, system, SIT and UAT testing in Hybrid/Waterfall/Agile environments, using JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence, contributing to a rigorous testing program in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years IT Quality Assurance and execution experience on projects in agile and waterfall environments.
• 5+ years experience in testing mobile, web, and back-end services.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Zephyr, confluence.
• Retail system testing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration; able to work with all levels of business.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, designing, executing and reporting on software testing activities and results for assigned projects.
• Craft and execute test strategies, test cases, and test plans; coordinate defects to resolution.
• Mentor and guide project testing resources on TCoE processes.
• Perform functional, E2E, System, SIT and UAT testing as required; conduct bug triage meetings.
• Communicate testing timelines, resources and risks with project managers and TCoE manager.
