Overview

As a Senior Analyst, Benefits, your role will primarily focus on supporting client service work and projects related to life, disability, and health care plan data. You'll be instrumental in delivering research, analysis, and reporting for our largest clients. Responsibilities include synthesizing information from diverse sources, interpreting data significance, drawing conclusions, generating alternatives, and evaluating potential outcomes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our clients' success and make a meaningful impact in benefits analysis.

How you'll make an impact

• Prepare renewals and experience reports for complex clients using renewal and reporting tools
• Create benefits marketing materials and compile data from insurer proposals
• Coordinate with the Gallagher Centre of Excellence (GCoE) to support project results
• Collaborate with service providers on data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Work with internal teams to develop awareness and recommendations on plan design and costs, and assist in renewal preparations
• Participate in strategic discussions evaluating current benefits plans and suggest alternatives
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
• Support account management in presenting analytics to clients
• Perform other duties to support the team as needed

What skills are important to be successful in this role?

• Attention to detail, data analysis skills, and basic math proficiency
• Strong command of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP), and Power BI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Enjoy working independently and in teams, developing relationships with vendors and clients

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Group Benefits environment
• BA/BS degree in math, statistics, economics, business, finance, or related field
• CEBS designation is a plus
• Strong understanding of group benefits underwriting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and managing Outlook inbox
