Job summary
Randstad Canada is seeking a high-performing Application Developer IV (Senior Backend Lead) to join its core technology engineering group. This mission-critical role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting scalable microservices powering mortgage and lending workflows with Java Spring Boot and Camunda 8 in Azure Kubernetes.
You will work in an Agile product team, delivering API-first services, DevSecOps practices, and high-concurrency, low-latency financial systems.
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of backend microservices experience
- Hands-on Camunda 8 development
- Expert in Java Spring Boot and distributed microservices
- API-driven development with OpenAPI, OAuth
- Azure AKS deployment with Helm
- CI/CD, TDD/BDD, SAST/SCA practices
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend microservices for mortgage and lending workflows
- Architect Camunda 8 workflow orchestration with BPMN models and connectors
- Ensure fault tolerance, resilience, and security in distributed systems
- Deploy and manage containerized services on Kubernetes (AKS) using Helm
- Drive observability with New Relic and ELK Stack; enable CI/CD pipelines
