Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Software Engineer for the Partners and Merchants Integration team. You will help build backend APIs used by partners such as Amazon and Stripe, ensuring scalable, well-tested code within a remote-friendly environment across Canada.

You will work with AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes, own code quality, and participate in reviews while collaborating with a global engineering team to deliver robust fintech solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Proficient in Python or Kotlin.
• Familiar with distributed systems building blocks.
• Ability to navigate large code bases and review others' code.
