Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend for the Partner Merchant Interfaces – Integration team. You will design, build, and scale backend services used by partners and merchants, including integration with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
You will work remote-first from Canada, collaborating with a global engineering team to deliver reliable APIs, thoughtful trade-offs, and secure, well-tested code while helping to protect our systems from downtime.

The Partner Merchant Interfaces - Integration team within Decisions Foundations is growing and we are looking for a Software Engineer. You will be part of a fast paced team which is responsible for the APIs that Partners and Merchants use to integrate with Affirm, and also power some of our top partners like Amazon and Stripe.
Base Pay Grade - N
Equity Grade - 6
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
CAN base pay range per year: $153,000 - $213,000
This remote role is open only to candidates residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan
