Job summary

Quo is a remote-first company redefining how small businesses connect with customers. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will spend most of your time coding, architecting, and owning moderate to complex components, and you may lead a small team or project.

You will work with a TS/Node stack, Kubernetes on AWS, and event-driven microservices while delivering scalable backend systems to support a growing user base.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Typescript, or experience with object-oriented languages such as Java or C# and Javascript/Node.
• Strong experience with observability tools, including metrics, structured logging and distributed tracing
• You take ownership of your work and understand the importance of communication.
• You are curious and lifelong learner who seeks to understand the why behind things.

Responsibilities

• You will spend the majority of your time coding, architecting, and owning moderate to complex backend components.
• You may lead a small team or a project and provide technical guidance through code reviews and design decisions.
• Deliver on small/medium size projects end-to-end.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve core messaging, data management, and system reliability.
