Job summary

Vocantas is seeking a senior software developer for a remote, backend-heavy role. You will own major features, design scalable architectures, and contribute to AI-enabled capabilities within the platform. The position emphasizes security, reliability, and multi-month project work within a small team.

You’ll collaborate with Product and QA, mentor peers, and push high-quality code across the stack using .NET, C#, Vue.js, and SQL. Remote work is supported with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong backend focus.
• Hands-on experience with .NET and C#, including modern .NET.
• Experience with Vue.js and TypeScript; Angular or similar is a plus.
• Practical application of domain-driven design and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools in a product setting.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver complex product work on multi-month projects.
• Take ownership of technical delivery from design through testing and delivery.
• Break down work for a small development team and ensure security and reliability.
• Design architecture using domain-driven design and microservices.
• Develop REST APIs, messaging, and distributed systems; lead code reviews.
• Explore AI features and integrate them into Vocantas products.
