Job summary

Alberta Investment Management Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst for Back Office Technology & Business Delivery. You will partner with investment, operations, finance, and technology teams to translate complex business needs into practical technology solutions.

You will lead requirements definition, design support, testing, and deployment, while mentoring other analysts and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in investment management, pensions, or financial services.
Experience delivering or supporting technology solutions across front, middle, or back-office functions.
Strong understanding of investment management processes and data flows.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, facilitate discussions, and drive alignment.
Translate needs into functional specifications, data mappings, and user stories.
Support back-office initiatives including accounting, fund administration, cash management, settlements, and reporting.
Develop product backlogs, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios with delivery teams.
