Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto is seeking a Technical Business Analysis Specialist to provide application support and business analysis for CRIMS, SCD, MPOWER, and IDH in the asset management domain. You will work on configurations, end-to-end workflows, and regulatory requirements, collaborating with front, middle and back offices to optimize trading, settlement, and accounting processes.

The role requires deep IT experience in asset management, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with agile

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of practical IT experience within Asset Management or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension (SCD), Charles River (CRIMS), MPOWER or Markit EDM (IDH).
• Understanding of portfolios, trading, settlement, accounting and risk workflows.
• Experience with batch jobs for Order Management and overnight processing.
• Strong analytical, requirements gathering, testing and modelling abilities.
• Project management experience; agile practices are an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of financial instruments and market conventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support and business analysis for CRIMS, SCD, MPOWER and IDH.
• Configure and troubleshoot end-to-end asset management workflows.
• Collaborate with front/middle/back offices to optimize processes and regulatory adherence.
• Identify improvements in overnight batch processes and data transfers.
• Participate in project delivery with agile practices and formal testing.
