Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking an AWS-focused Solutions Architect to lead and deliver engagements for partners in Canada. The role blends pre-sales and delivery, with hands-on architecture, migration, and cloud-native work across AWS services.

You will travel to client sites and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape scalable service delivery models. You should have 5–7 years of solutions architecture experience, 3+ years AWS cloud services, and two or more AWS certifications.

Qualifications

• College diploma or degree in engineering or IT or equivalent is required.
• 5-7 years of solutions architect experience.
• 3+ years of experience delivering AWS cloud services.
• 2+ years of AWS migration projects, delivery and pre-sales in a consultancy.
• 2+ years designing enterprise AWS architecture and AWS cloud native services.
• Two or more AWS certifications (one preferred) and willingness to obtain a second.
• Active or previous Government of Canada Secret clearance is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver service delivery solutions aligned to client objectives.
• Develop service delivery frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
• Evaluate and integrate technologies to support client goals.
• Serve as lead architect on consulting engagements with strategic guidance.
• Act as primary client-facing representative, building strong relationships.
• Lead delivery teams and ensure alignment of objectives, resources, and expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft scalable service models.
• Analyze client environments and propose improvements for performance and satisfaction.
• Ensure delivery solutions meet quality standards and business results.
• Provide thought leadership and trusted advisory throughout engagements.
• Support project planning, governance, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Travel to client sites as required; typically <50%, with periods of increased onsite presence.
