Index Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior AV Engineer to own the full lifecycle of the organization's AV and unified communications environment.

You will design and architect meeting spaces, and provide hands-on support for platforms and hardware used daily by staff and executives. This high-visibility role requires collaboration with Network Engineering, mentorship of IT colleagues, and delivering white-glove support across global offices, with regular travel to Kitchener, ON and occasional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in corporate AV engineering or related roles.
• Expert-level administration of Microsoft Teams and Zoom including Meeting Room platforms.
• Design and implementation experience across various room types, including large spaces.
• Solid knowledge of AV networking: AV-over-IP, multicast, VLANs, QoS.
• Experience deploying digital signage platforms like Yodeck and BrightSign.
• Proven track record in live events and broadcasts in corporate settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AV Subject Matter Expert across unified communications and rooms ecosystems.
• Administer Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms; manage room configurations and peripherals.
• Plan, deploy, and support digital signage platforms across global offices.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering on AV network requirements and QoS.
• Coordinate live events and hybrid broadcasts with events team and executives.
• Mentor IT teammates and share knowledge via runbooks and docs.
• Provide white-glove end-user support and maintain documentation.
