Job summary

Index Exchange in Toronto is seeking a Senior AV Engineer to own the full lifecycle of our AV and unified communications environment. From designing meeting spaces of all sizes to hands-on support of platforms and hardware, you’ll ensure reliable operation for staff and executives.

You’ll partner with IT and Network teams, mentor colleagues, and deliver white-glove support during live events, broadcasts, and complex AV configurations across global offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on AV engineering experience.
• Expert-level administration of Microsoft Teams and Zoom, including Meeting Room platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing AV systems across various room types.
• Working knowledge of AV networking: AV-over-IP, Dante, VLANs, QoS.
• Experience deploying digital signage platforms (Yodeck/BrightSign).
• Proven experience supporting live corporate events and broadcasts.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Unified Communications: administer Teams and Zoom and Meeting Room ecosystems.
• Digital Signage: manage Yodeck and BrightSign deployments across offices.
• Network Integration: design and support AV networking with IT teams.
• Live Events & Broadcasts: coordinate and operate town halls and hybrid events.
• Mentorship & Enablement: share knowledge and runbooks with IT staff.
• IT Crossover: assist with general IT tasks as needed.
• Customer Service: provide white-glove support to staff and executives.
