Job summary

BDO Canada in Waterloo is seeking a Manager to join the Assurance team and lead engagement reviews for private, public and NPO clients. You will plan, supervise, and execute assurance engagements while developing new client opportunities with existing clients.

You will bring CPA designation and 4–5 years of audit experience, collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality service and impactful insights across industries.

Qualifications

• CPA designation completed.
• 4–5 years of audit experience in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Review assurance and non-assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure relevant standards and Firm policies are followed.
• Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance engagements.
• Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basis.
• Address client issues in a timely manner, using strong technical accounting experience.
• Apply industry/business knowledge to anticipate and address client issues.
