Job summary

BDO Canada in Waterloo, Ontario seeks a Manager to join the Assurance team and oversee engagements, client development, and issue resolution. CPA designation and 4–5 years of audit experience in public accounting are required. You will collaborate with teams across industries, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to policy.

You will lead engagements, supervise staff, and contribute to business development while delivering value to clients and upholding BDO's standards and culture.

Responsibilities

• Review assurance and non-assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure relevant standards and Firm policies are followed.
• Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance engagements
• Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients ongoingly
• Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy with strong accounting experience
• Apply industry/business knowledge to anticipate, identify and address client business issues
