Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Manager, Assurance in Windsor, Ontario. You will lead audits, reviews, and compilations for owner-managed private businesses within a public practice context, while guiding teams across multiple engagements and reporting frameworks.

The ideal candidate has CPA designation and at least eight years of accounting experience, with strong technical expertise in accounting and auditing.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• At least 8 years accounting-related experience, public practice preferred.
• Strong technical expertise in accounting and auditing; private company experience helps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audits, review engagements and compilations across clients.
• Work with owner-managed private businesses within a public practice framework.
• Analyze and review corporate and personal tax returns.
• Provide accounting and advisory solutions to clients for growth.
• Lead engagements across varying reporting frameworks and industries.
• Support business development by leveraging Doane Grant Thornton services.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and participate in performance reviews.
• Drive engagement profitability by efficient resource use.
