OCPinfo in Toronto (Hybrid) seeks an Associate General Counsel to lead a broad legal portfolio, including regulatory, corporate, privacy and policy matters. Reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer, the AGC provides strategic guidance, oversees conduct-related prosecutions, and maintains high professional standards across the College’s activities.

Formación

• Juris Doctor or LL.B. and admission to the Law Society of Ontario.
• 10+ years of progressively senior legal experience.
• Experience in professional regulation, administrative law and prosecutions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic legal guidance across corporate, regulatory, governance, privacy and policy matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and procurement documents.
• Support governance materials and bylaw drafting, motions and terms of reference.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the College.
• Support the College’s privacy program, including privacy advice and breach response.
• Instruct and oversee external counsel for conduct-stream matters.
• Provide leadership for the Manager, Legal Conduct and conduct-stream counsel.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and prosecutorial practices.
