Placements24 is seeking a Senior Architectural Drafter to Kimberley to produce detailed drawings and documentation for diverse projects. You will rely on AutoCAD and Revit, coordinate with structural and mechanical teams, and deliver buildable construction documents with high accuracy.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Architectural Drafting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter or Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, building codes, and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing production.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and schedules using CAD and BIM software.
• Develop construction documentation packages, including specifications and material details.
• Coordinate drawings with other disciplines, such as structural and mechanical engineering.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all drafted documentation, adhering to company standards.
• Assist in site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions.
• Review shop drawings and submittals from contractors for compliance with design intent.
