Job summary

Placements24 partners with a forward-thinking architectural practice in Kimberley to invite an Architectural Assistant to join the team. You will assist with design development, technical documentation, and project administration.

The role offers hands-on experience across CAD, site visits, and collaboration with senior architects, with a hybrid work model and mentorship to help you grow within the architectural profession in Kimberley.

Qualifications

• Completed diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or related field.
• Up to 3 years of relevant architectural office experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
• Support design team with research, material selection, and 3D modeling.
• Coordinate project documentation and ensure standards.
• Participate in site visits to observe construction progress.
• Maintain project files and organized records.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors as directed by senior architects.
