Job summary

SUMUS is seeking a seasoned Architectural Technologist to deliver technical drawings and construction documents across project phases. You will collaborate with architects, technicians, and engineers, ensuring adherence to codes and building envelope standards.

The role requires a diploma in Architectural Technology and a minimum of 10 years in the industry, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. A hybrid schedule is offered with 3 days in-office per week.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent field.
• At least 10 years of experience in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and envelope systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update technical drawings and construction details in compliance with codes.
• Contribute to plans and specifications across project phases.
• Collaborate with architects and senior technicians to resolve technical challenges.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants and contractors.
• Attend coordination meetings and document follow-ups.
