Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a highly committed and diligent Senior Architect to join our team!

The Senior Architect will play a vital role in overseeing and shaping our architectural design processes. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in UAE design codes and regulations, particularly within the frameworks established by local ministries and government authorities such as DM , Trakhees , DDA, DEWA, FEWA, and other municipal offices.

Candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance, uphold quality, and drive the execution of outstanding architectural solutions. Candidate will be responsible for implementing the project plan & ensuring all items of project deliverables are delivered on time, team management, planning and coordination with all stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design Leadership: Spearhead architectural design initiatives, driving all phases from conceptualization to execution while ensuring alignment with client and organizational objectives.

• Regulatory Expertise: Guarantee that all architectural designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, with excellent knowledge of Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, design codes.

• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams, ensuring seamless integration of design intent with technical specifications and practical implementation on-site.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous reviews of architectural documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards while identifying any issues or risks that could impact project delivery.

• Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Industry Insight: Remain informed on the latest trends in architecture, sustainability, and construction technologies, integrating best practices and innovative solutions into project execution.

• BIM Proficiency: Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies and Revit software to enhance design accuracy and coordination among project stakeholders.

• Coordination: Coordination of all sub-consultant packages and other disciplines within the organization

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

• Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of architectural experience, within a reputable architectural firm in the UAE.

• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, Naviswork, ACC or similar applications and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) practices.

• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire design teams while effectively coordinating various stakeholder interests.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming design challenges and implementing effective solutions.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience: 15+ years of architectural experience.

• Communication: Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.

• Stakeholders & Authorities: experience working with Authorities including Dubai Municipality, RTA, Trakhees and DDA to secure Building Permits / NOCs is highly desirable.
