Job summary

Architecture49 Inc. in Kingston, Ontario, seeks a senior architect to lead design teams across education and multi-disciplinary projects.

You will guide project delivery from concept through construction, manage staff, coordinate disciplines, and maintain strong client relationships while meeting budgets and schedules.

The role requires deep knowledge of provincial codes, BIM workflows (REVIT/AutoCAD), and a collaborative leadership approach, with relocation support if needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Ontario architect (OAA) with 15+ years in a similar role.
• Strong BIM knowledge, REVIT/AutoCAD proficiency and project coordination experience.
• Ability to manage client relationships, budgets and schedules; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design teams for architectural solutions and construction drawings.
• Coordinate disciplines and lead project meetings on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Perform internal reviews to ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Serve as senior client advisor and oversee project delivery within cost/quality/schedule.
• Manage project finance including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing; travel to sites in Seaway Corridor.
