• Actively participate in business development.
• Represent the company at conventions and conferences.
• Participate in project coordination after receiving orders.
• Visit engineering consulting firms and customers on sites.
• Attend equipment start-ups.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Centrifuge Expert to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will apply their process knowledge to drive sales and promote a range of products (centrifuge, dehumidifier and decanter) through plant tours, conferences and trade shows, as well as visits to engineering offices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, metallurgical, mining engineering or equivalent.
• Membership in a recognized provincial or international engineering association.
• Leadership experience (an asset).
• Proven experience in centrifuge, dehumidifier and decanter in the mining and mineral processing industries.
• 10 years of experience with centrifuges (a strong asset).
• Computer skills: Office Suite, standard process calculation software (an asset).
• Experience in industrial mineral processing sites, within engineering firms or with equipment suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Size equipment by calculations and using the company’s software (centrifuge, dryer, decanter, etc.).
• Respond to calls for tender and write bids.
• Actively participate in business development.
• Represent the company and sister company at conventions, conferences and kiosks.
• Participate in project coordination after receiving orders.
• Visit engineering consulting firms and customers on sites.
• Travel mainly to Canada, the USA and occasionally to Latin America (15-25% travel).
• Attend equipment start-ups.
