Job description

Are you passionate about process engineering and eager to contribute to innovative projects in the mining sector? This position is for you! As a Process Engineer, Mining Projects, you will play a key role in the design, sizing, and optimization of mineral processing equipment. You will work closely with the sales and field service teams to deliver high-performance technical solutions tailored to customer needs.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Sizing and selecting equipment for key mineral processing steps (classification, gravity separation, dewatering).
  • Validating designs with product specialists and ensuring expected performance.
Develop technical and commercial proposals
  • Write technical proposals including specifications, design narratives, performance indicators, and warranties.
  • Contribute to commercial offers by defining the scope of supply and estimating operational parameters.
  • Respond to requests for proposals and technical customer inquiries accurately and promptly.
On-site technical support and commissioning
  • Participate in the start-up, calibration, and performance validation of equipment.
  • Diagnose operational problems and propose corrective solutions.
  • Conduct process audits to improve the efficiency of installations.
  • Train operators and maintenance teams.
Cross-functional collaboration
  • Work with sales teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
  • Provide field feedback to R&D teams to improve products.
  • Support after-sales service in analyzing the causes of underperformance.
Desired Profile

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in mineral processing and equipment design.
