Here is what you will be doing:
Overview:Join Ontario Health as a Senior Program Analyst and lead the design of innovative strategies, programs, and projects that advance our strategic goals in Primary and Community Based Care. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of Ontario Health Teams and the delivery of high-value health care.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:Translate Ontario Health’s corporate strategy into actionable plans and lead priority projects that integrate portfolio priorities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and develop evidence-based programs and projects.
Research and Analysis:Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research on population health interventions and value-based care models.
Performance Measurement:Support initiatives with research, strategic planning, and performance measurement, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
Data Translation:Convert research data into meaningful dashboards and reports for executive briefings.
Proposal Development:Develop proposals for new strategies and projects that align with Ministry of Health policies and Ontario Health’s corporate strategy.
Monitoring and Reporting:Collaborate with Ontario Health’s Corporate Strategy and the Ministry of Health to support performance monitoring and reporting
Education and Experience
Minimum of5years of experience working in research, consulting, health or public administration or a related field
An undergraduate degree in Public Policy, Business Administration, Economics or another relevant discipline is essential; graduate degree (e.g. MBA, MA, MHSc, MHA, MPA) is an asset
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge ofhealth care systempriorities, includingintegrated care, is an asset.
Strong research and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesize and visualize data and analysis into briefing materials, presentations and dashboards.
Demonstrated experience leading project activities, from initiation and design to implementation, monitoring and reporting.
Knowledge of, and experience with, government policy development and approval processes would be strongly advantageous; broad management consulting experience and strategy development/execution experience would be an acceptable alternative
Ability to think strategically, ask poignant questions and understand the strategic significance of data and evaluation findings.
Experience synthesizing insights from literature reviews, jurisdictional scans and market research.
Demonstrated ability to consult with and partner effectively with stakeholders, both internal and external, to advance portfolio objectives.
Awareness of digital and virtual care trends and their impact on healthcare delivery. Knowledge of patient navigation, surveillance and screening and care coordination tools is an asset.
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong inter-personal and negotiation skills.
