Job summary

OMERS / Oxford Properties Group is seeking a Senior Analyst in Investment Accounting to deliver timely financial reporting and close processes for investment entities. You will contribute technical accounting expertise, build a team culture, and collaborate across Tax, Legal, and Asset Management.

The role requires 3–5+ years in accounting or investment accounting, CPA or CFE, IFRS and pension accounting knowledge, and strong data and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in accounting, audit, or investment accounting.
• CPA designation or recently passed the CFE.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and pension accounting exposure.
• Experience with multi-currency reporting and complex structures is an asset.
• Proficient with Excel; experience with data tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, investment roll forwards and workpapers.
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, note disclosures, tax filings and audit support.
• Research accounting considerations and position papers for investment entity activities.
• Manage general ledgers and consolidated ledgers for OMERS financial records.
• Collaborate with Finance peers and audit teams; drive process improvements.
