Job Description

We are growing our team and are actively hiring a Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence! The Business Intelligence team provides key insights across the customer lifecycle, supporting functions within the Allstate Group (Allstate, Pembridge, PAFCO, Ivantage) such as Sales, Product, HR, Marketing, Underwriting, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and SLT. The candidate will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance business performance aligned with our strategic goals.

Accountabilities:

1. Design and develop solutions to generate insights for business partners.
2. Advise stakeholders on metrics and measurement strategies.
3. Gather requirements aligned with business objectives.
4. Create Power BI reports and dashboards to analyze and interpret data trends.
5. Prioritize business and information needs with management.
6. Identify process improvement opportunities.
7. Develop and implement data systems and strategies to optimize efficiency and quality.
8. Communicate data analyses effectively.
9. Lead multiple projects and provide technical guidance.
10. Implement process improvements, automate manual tasks, and optimize data workflows.
11. Develop and optimize SAS/SQL programs for efficiency.
12. Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and related tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Degree in Math, Stats, Finance, Engineering, or similar preferred.
2. 3-5 years of relevant experience, including marketing, actuarial, or analytics roles.
3. Proficiency in SAS/EG, SAS Macro, SQL, Power BI.
4. Strong knowledge of Power BI and visual analytics tools.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in teams.
7. Innovative mindset for improving effectiveness and productivity.
8. Strong understanding of relational databases.
9. Analytical and critical thinking skills for problem resolution and presentation.
10. Experience collaborating with stakeholders to derive insights.
11. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; insurance/actuarial data experience is a plus.
