Job summary

Citco seeks an AVP for AML/CDD in Canada to lead a dedicated team delivering high‑quality AML/CDD services and client reporting. You will oversee investor CDD reviews, ensure regulatory and Citco standards are met, and present KPI/KRI performance during client calls.

You will drive operational performance, manage workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics & Law (MER) or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Compliance, AML, or client-service financial environment.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing staff within operations or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, financial markets, and hedge fund industry practices.
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and delivering operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of AML/CDD specialists, ensuring strong performance and motivation.
• Allocate resources and oversee workloads to ensure timely delivery across AML/CDD activities.
• Act as escalation and decision‑maker for complex AML/CDD issues.
• Oversee CDD reviews for investors, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver high‑quality client reporting, including KPI/KRI summaries and risk updates.
• Lead client service calls and discuss operational results, risks, and deliverables.
• Ensure SLA commitments and KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as primary AML contact.
• Support AML/CDD policy implementation and adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated on AML/KYC regulations and communicate changes to the team.
