Job summary

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan and provide technical assistance for scheduled heavy maintenance activities within the AMO.

The role involves creating and maintaining work packages, work orders, and material lists, and developing ERP workflows to control maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience with Aircraft Maintenance/Operations.
  • Must have experience in Aircraft Maintenance planning.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (CAMP and IFS).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, SBs, STCs and ADs.
  • Experience with technical writing.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the work package based on customer-defined scope.
  • Create and maintain routine work orders and a routine tally on the work package.
  • Assemble the list of materials and services required for maintenance/modification.
  • Develop and maintain ERP framework for job cards and part IDs.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation for upcoming projects before induction.
  • Release and close work packages per the Master Schedule.
  • Solicit feedback from technicians and leads to improve the maintenance plan.
